Video Editor & Graphic Designer

Location: Remote (North America Preferred)
Job Type: Part-Time Contractor

ABOUT YOU:
You’re a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor & Graphic Designer who thrives on producing both short-form and long-form content that informs, engages, and inspires.

You bring a strong sense of brand, a sharp eye for storytelling, and a passion for creating visual content that resonates — from first impressions with new leads to ongoing value for existing customers.

You'll be responsible for:

Editing compelling short- and long-form videos for YouTube, social media, and customer education

Optimizing YouTube titles, descriptions, and strategy to drive channel growth

Designing visuals for marketing campaigns across digital channels

ROLE SPECIFICS:

Manage SpotGamma’s YouTube channel, optimizing video content, descriptions, channel organization, scheduling live streams and keeping up with best practices

Film and edit product tutorials, case studies, and customer-facing educational video content (note: you will not be required to be on-camera, all content is produced in a screen-sharing format)

Edit long- and short-form video content for public use on YouTube, and social media

Create scroll-stopping thumbnails that capture attention and deliver high click-through rates

Translate complex topics into easy-to-digest content via visually appealing videos and graphics

Capture impactful clips from existing webinar content for internal and external use

Add motion graphics, captions, charts, and transitions to enhance financial educational content

Maintain and build upon established brand styles and voice through templates for video, slides, and other multimedia assets

Assist in the design and development of high-quality graphics and visuals for educational and promotional use (emails, advertising, social media posts, educational infographics, etc)

Stay up to date on video trends, design tools, and financial content presentation best practices

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design

Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Descript and other editing tools (Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator are a plus)

Strong portfolio demonstrating video work and static design for finance, tech, or B2B brands

Experience editing YouTube content with a focus on educational or data-heavy topics

Understanding of SEO and YouTube best practices

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Basic understanding of financial markets, trading, or options (a big plus)

Market Analyst

You’re also energized by innovation and love being part of a product that’s constantly evolving. You’re curious, collaborative, and eager to contribute—whether that means providing feedback on new tools, testing features, or engaging directly with the trading community.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Market Analysis:

Deliver daily and weekly written market summaries highlighting the impact of options on the broader markets

Showcase options market analysis leveraging SpotGamma tools and insights

Collaborate on written reports covering notable market developments

Customer & Community Engagement:

Master SpotGamma products and educate our community on use cases and key features of our tools

Assist SpotGamma community by triaging issues and providing diagnostics via Discord

Answer email queries to facilitate product usage and provide education for subscribers

Support new product launches by providing clear, user-focused guidance helping subscribers best leverage SpotGamma tools

Product Development:

Share thoughtful feedback on new products and changes to the user experience as part of internal and beta review stages

Define key use cases and requirements for SpotGamma’s products, identifying bugs or gaps in functionality

Help shape SpotGamma’s strategic roadmap, including new tools, education, and development priorities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of active trading and investing experience

Strong expertise analyzing the options market

Knowledgeable of various trading platforms and systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to translate complex topics into easy-to-understand language

Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Familiarity with web development and troubleshooting (a big plus)
